Personal Contract Purchase is a finance method which at the contract end, you are able to purchase the car for a previously arranged amount. Once you have purchased this car, all profits from any subsequent sale is yours.

How does Personal Contract Purchase Work?

With Personal Contract Purchase agreements, it is usual to pay a deposit (typically three months’), followed by an agreed monthly sum normally starting at month two for the duration of the contract, typically over two, three, four or five years. Although a higher deposit can be made to either bring the monthly payments lower or to lower the agreed end purchase price. At the end of the contract and upon payment of the end purchase price, ownership of the car is transferred to you. Should you feel at the start of the contract that you may change your mind, an additional agreement is available (at a small cost) which will protect you from any penalties.
